Therapy for Overcoming Perfectionism
We help you gain freedom from perfectionism through high-impact therapy in-person in Westport, CT or online throughout Connecticut and Florida
The Need to Be Perfect is Unattainable and Dangerous to Your Personal Well-Being and Relationships.
I can Help You Gain Freedom from the Thoughts that Plague your Days and Lead You to Push Those Around You Away.
The Hidden Cost of Perfectionism
As a therapist for perfectionists, I know the drill. The unyielding standards that you place upon. yourself, the restless nights pondering over the 'could haves' and 'should haves,' and the never-ending race for the next big achievement.
It’s exhausting, isn’t it? What if I told you that you could strive for excellence—without the punishing cycle of self-critique?
Your Route to Self-Compassion
Here’s the good news: You don't have to abandon your high standards or your drive for success to overcome perfectionism. Our specialized therapy for perfectionists is designed to:
Realign your goals to focus on growth and learning, not just flawless outcomes.
Equip you with the tools to engage in self-reflection without falling into the pit of self-judgment.
Teach you how to enjoy the journey of achievement, not just the destination.
Teach you how to bring those around you along for the journey, as sharing the process and the achievement is a beautiful part of living.
You Can Find Freedom and Joy in the Things You Do Again.
Finding Balance - Perfectionism Recovery
Therapy for perfectionism is about recalibrating your outlook, not lowering your standards. Embracing imperfections can open up a whole new world of possibilities. With support, you no longer have to be paralyzed by the fear of failure; instead, you can be invigorated by the joy of trying, learning, and growing.
Our Therapy sessions will focus on:
Cognitive restructuring to challenge your 'all-or-nothing' thoughts.
Mindfulness techniques to help you be present, accepting imperfections as part of the human experience.
Resilience-building exercises, so you can bounce back from setbacks without spiraling into self-doubt.
Step into Your Empowered Self
Life beyond perfectionism is not just a dream—it's a reachable, liveable reality. Once you free yourself from the shackles of unrealistic expectations, you'll experience life in its full spectrum: the highs, the lows, and the incredibly beautiful in-betweens. You'll find that success is not diminished by imperfections; rather, it's enriched by the lessons they bring.
